Career and STE(A)M Events
Explore STE(A)M futures and the pathways that lead there.
Black Creativity Career Showcase
Celebrate innovation and representation in action. During Black Creativity, you and your family can connect with Black artists, scientists and engineers who are shaping work in Chicago and beyond. Hear their stories. Ask your questions. Discover pathways you may not have considered and see how representation opens doors in STE(A)M.

Science Works
Step into a Museum-wide celebration of STE(A)M careers each October. Meet professionals across science, technology, engineering and math and learn how they turned their interests into impactful work. Walk away with practical advice, new ideas and a clearer sense of how your passions can connect to real opportunities.

Girls in STEM
Supported by generous funding from Ann M. Drake, Girls in STEM allows you to see what is possible when you see yourself in the field. Girls in STEM supports girls and gender-expansive youth in exploring STE(A)M pathways with confidence. At the Museum, Meet Her features inspiring women role models who share their journeys and expertise. In schools and community spaces, Girls Run STEM connects curiosity to action through engaging, skill-building activities. You leave with more than information. You leave with possibility.
